I like hostels

I like all the hellos and how are yous

But I don’t like the quick goodbyes

Unless I say goodbye to a person I don’t like

I like most people

I like learning from them

But I don’t like conflict

Unless it brings us closer

I like it when we are closer

I like deep talks and sharing secrets

But I don’t like to be vulnerable first

Unless I can laugh as I share

I like laughing 

I like to tease and to be teased

But I don’t like it if we don’t both find it funny

Unless I’m just being self-deprecating

I like life

But I don’t like taking it too seriously

Not unless I have to.
