Joining Forces Against Acid Attacks (Kathy – Brussels – March 24)
Subject: Urgent Request from Ajay SINGH TOMAR
Dear contacts,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Kathy, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of Ajay Singh Tomar, a dedicated activist working tirelessly against acid attacks.
Ajay is coming to Pisa with Mee and Neetu, two inspiring “sheroes” committed to advocacy, rehabilitation, and support for acid attack victims in Agra, India.
Ajay has specifically sought my support in this critical initiative.
With media reports highlighting 710 cases of acid attacks in the UK in 2022, there is an urgent need for collaborative action on an international scale.
Their mission extends beyond borders, addressing not only legislation but also the crucial implementation of comprehensive rehabilitation processes, the creation of employment opportunities, and the promotion of skills development.
Their vision encompasses not only India but also the UK, EU, and the USA, and they are eager to collaborate with individuals and organizations to bring about lasting change.
To raise awareness and garner support, their will join an event in Pisa, Italy, on March 8th, 2024.
We would be grateful if you could join or share this information with any relevant contacts who may be interested in contributing to this crucial campaign.
I have also penned two articles in Agra titled “STOP ACID ATTACKS,” providing insights into the current scenario and envisioned steps. Check the blog https://lnkd.in/eaNC35Vz.
Ajay deeply values your support and collaboration in the fight against acid violence. Together, we can make a substantial impact and contribute to a safer and more inclusive world.
Thank you for considering this request.
Looking forward to the possibility of working together to bring about positive change.
Best regards,
Kathy
